Any normal kid would be happy to get a $5.99 gum boot from Target according to Nonna. But last Friday, a Hi5 or Wiggles boot is not good enough, so Nonna took Alannah to Williamstown to look for a yellow gum boot with cows. We dunno where that idea came from but she like the color pink more than any other colors, arguably maybe the color purple too.
After sorting through the designs and colors available, here is a photo of the chosen one, taken at our backyard. Today, mother and child also washed two cars outside and stomped on leaves. Apparently, yesterday, she did the same thing with Elicia at Nonna's house. BTW, they are hand-painted and for outside "leg-work" only.

Alannah and Zia "ehsa" had a chuckle as we stomped in the leaves with our boots on. However Alannah found her new boots "...bit tricky" to walk in! Like a true woman she wore them ne way and showed everybody....even scruffy and the birds.
