I overheard a conversation between mother and child. Alannah mentioned
tonight before going to bed that she would like an Elmo birthday cake eventhough she had just celebrated her birthday. Marisa said that she might change her mind given that it is going to be nearly a year away. We will see, so I decided to record this event if she does change her
preference.
Last birthday, it was a toss-up between Spot and a butterfly that went on for a couple of weeks before if not three or four weeks. I guess, Marisa baking a cake for tomorrow with a footy theme (field and poles, etc.) brought on this idea that she likes an Elmo cake for her birthday.
