Hang on a minute

I was reading the paper yesterday and heart disease death rates have come down quite a bit in the last decade. However, cancer death rates have increased significantly in the same period. With so much technology we have right now, it could come from anything - here is one study about cancer linked to mobile phones. Now I am paranoid - I better manually switch off the wireless router every night as sometimes the timer does not kick in or get a better timer switch. Now another possible dilemma, does the switch emit electro-magnetic waves? Let's all go back to the caves!

On another health issue, while Victoria will finally ban smoking altogether inside pubs, restaurants, etc. starting 1st July, while we were in NSW, the only thing that separates the smokers and non-smokers inside the pub was a chain hanging on a post that divides the room. Smokers can be nice people too but with a nasty habit. I don't care if you want to slowly kill your cells, just don't involve everybody else, then we can all breathe easier and not smell.
