Fun in the sun

When the wind blows, you get wind burn too. Alannah and I spent most of the time in Yarrawonga under cover but we are definitely darker than usual whilst Marisa sun baked every chance she got. We had a night out at the Yarrawonga Golf Club and here, Alannah is proud to have a snake after dinner. BTW, while we were outside, 2 oldies spoke to me and asked how old she is - they could not believe a 2 and a half year old can speak so much and so clear. They were sisters - one a school principal and the other, an early childhood teacher. They thought she was four but seemed too little.

A side story but relevant, outside the fence, there is a fountain at the golf club. Alannah asked me if she can touch the water and I said just twice and that's it. There were 2 other kids playing with the water fountain and so, she started looking at the pebbles and flowers. She remarked, "Dad, I have 2 touches with the fountain. But not yet, coz I am talking." And she went on talking about the flowers, pebbles, etc. where the the 2 ladies overheard the one sided conversation between father and daughter.
