Just great

I came home today with a new 12 inch laptop from work. It is very light - 1.5kg but the battery life is not as good as I had expected. The screen is a little fuzzy and non glossy plus the keyboard is a little cramped too. I guess the only two good things it has going for it, is that its weight and the fact that I still have my desktop PC with two 19 inch monitors at work. The spare is just a spare - used for traveling in between work locations and meetings.

Alannah then called me from the study where I was fiddling with the notebook and actually said it's a little computer and then, it's time for dinner. At the dinner table, we were having some tacos and she just said, "Dad, you're a boy. Mum and me are girls."

We were smiling by this time, so I asked, "What makes Dad a boy, and you and Mum, girls?" and she said, "You go to work. Mum and Ah-nah go out!" Marisa nearly choked on rice from laughing.
