If you want to spend a quiet weekend in the country, we recommend going to
Shalom Cottages, which btw, I have added on my side navigation bar - if you haven't noticed it. They have 3 lovely cottages for rent and it is only about half an hour drive away from Lorne, Victoria or about 2 hours drive from Melbourne. It is so peaceful and tranquil in the area, you can hear the parakeet's heartbeat by the tree!
