Alannah had check-up this past week and the doctor said that the hip joint is recovering well. He has increased her "free time" without the brace - up to one hour a day. So when she gets up in the morning, the brace is removed and she moves around while having her breakfast and watching either Bob or Hi5. She has also regained her confidence and standing up a lot more, taking more steps.
Sometimes she likes it so much she doesn't like to go back in the brace. The doc says this free time is for the next six weeks. After that, we should increase the free time to 4 hours a day for six weeks and then we're due for another check-up.

What a beautiful little girl. i was graced with two sons, but i am hoping the next (and definately last) baby for us will be a girl. I am new here, so i dont know why your cutie where a brace, but i hope she continues to heal and florish!
