I was interviewed yesterday by news media (Channel Ten I think as it
was spitting rain and the camera was covered) regarding the incident
at Queen of Peace where kids playing soccer in the oval fought and one
got hurt. That's just exactly what I said to them when I went to
pickup Alannah - kids playing and one got hurt after and I don't
really know the details.

Marisa got worried as to what I have said as she teaches at the
school. Alas! I think they omitted my bit as I was walking away and
didn't really stop when I was talking, and they took my bad side angle
anyway. I reckon this is more of a parental issue rather than a school
one, as parents are supposed to prepare and mold their kids to go out
there in the world. Teachers are there for academic learning and
discipline, parents are for life nurturing. It goes hand in hand,
hence the importance of both.
