what did you learn today?

Alannah said that she can spell numbers and you have to put a full
stop on your sentences. I guess she learned a few things at school.

I don't remember learning about punctuation at school but I do
remember spelling out numbers and was as excited like her to know that
you can write one, two, three another way.

She was also trying to tell that you are suppose to pause when you see
a comma, and some of the kids didn't. Well, did you? The excitement of
learning to read with emotions!
