Pink balloon

We went to Fed Square today to checkout the Melbourne Design Market. It was held at the indoor car park with funky music for that edgy, urban feel but the prices of goods on offer was certainly up-market. There was this ceramic plate chick who 'cut' them into butterflies, cardboard but sturdy cubby houses, and felt wool slippers as well as MacBook covers. There was even fake takeaway reusable coffee cups for the latte crowd. It was all too much for Xavier who fell asleep in the pram. That was all after we went to the Crown Conservatory to have breakfast for Nonna's birthday.

On the way to the market, Alannah saw the Ferris wheel by the Yarra river from a distance and wanted to go there. We decided to go there afterwards since the market wasn't her crowd. After the ride, she spent some time in the kids' playground as well and I briefly mentioned that we had been here before when she was younger on a summer day. She sighed and said she can't remember. Xavier woke up after but she already had her first ride in the wheel with Mum.
