The last time Alannah played with the sprinkler was during her first summer. Apparently manual sprinklers are still allowed in the place we stayed in Yarrawonga/Mulwala so the kids took advantage as back in Melbourne, stage 3 water restrictions are in place. With the drought, it will be a while before the kids have a chance to run in the sprinkler again.
I have also noticed that in this summer, we have went on 2 summer holidays in between states. First, we went to the Gold Coast, staying between Queensland and New South Wales border. Luckily, we flew to get there. We just got back from Yarrawonga/Mulwala where the two towns is separated by the Murray River, on the border of Victoria and New South Wales. We drove home last night to beat the heat.
