Xavier is nearly one.

This week, we all got sick. First, Xavier has a drippy nose, then Mum got sick for a couple of days, and then the other day, I went home with chills and fever. Yesterday, Alannah said her hands are cold and her bones hurt. She got fever.

I have been sleeping all day yesterday and now I am up and could not sleep. I wandered over the site and realised I haven't updated it for a while. What's been happening lately, aside from the whole family getting the cold?

Xavier will turn one soon but he hasn't taken that forward step unassisted yet. He can stand on his own for a short period of time but he still has two weeks to reach the milestone of 'look at me I'm walking and I'm not yet one.'

He has a habit of just letting go, no fear, and he is very wiggly especially when changing the nappy. You need to be mindful as he can easily slip and fall.
