Shin boner

I came back from the hospital tonight after waiting for one and a half hours. They advised for me to come back tomorrow morning to get x-ray for my sore left shin for which I suspect have fractures. (hurt over the weekend)

I am appalled as the waiting time at the hospital is way too long. An emergency ward is not really emergency these days, because of the long wait times. There was a man and woman that I assumed to be husband and wife. She was rolling around the floor, the chairs, in what looks like excruciating pain (looks like an appendicitis as she was holding her side)

There was a mother and child with the child, saying 'I am hungry' and waiting for a couple of hours already. They didn't want to move a muscle fearing they lose their spot in the queue. I counted 13 families waiting with a couple leaving as they cannot wait anymore. Surely, this can be fixed. Australia is a developed country. we pay a lot of taxes/levies/duties/excise already and high insurance premium, yet the system still sucks.
