Feeling much better

Alannah is a lot more talkative now - nearly back to her usual self. Of course, she is still frustrated to be in the hip spica with limited movement. Last time, it was easier to move her around but the communication is not as better now as she is older. We are marking the days in the calendar and today is the first week of the six weeks in total.

The swelling in her left leg is mostly gone and she no longer takes anything for the pain. Today, she is complaining of itchiness where her stitches are, for which it is not accessible to scratch. Sign of the healing process but more frustration as she cannot scratch that itch.
