Alannah got a couple of black eyed fish.. with one eye each.. that's what you get for a 70 cent fish.. She spent some quality time with Dad when Mum went to get a mini pampering for a facial rejuvenation.. That was the longest hour - we played 4 puzzles, a house party in the doll house, hospital visits and when the little toy people came, they have to kiss everybody (my fault, for initially teaching her this greeting from a while back). Now, that she has a gazillion of them, it is no longer a novelty.
Marisa has been teaching her to spell and she has good memory such as M-U-M, D-A-D, D-O-G, C-A-T, Z-O-O, L-A-L-A,. etc.. and you can coach her phonetically to spell a word (single syllables please) She currently has a husky voice and drippy nose, but for silly some reason, she has forgotten how to clear her nose all of a sudden and refuses to do it. "I can't do it Daddy!" and then she inhales excessively. That's my girl, she can spell goo but not blow it out of her nose.
