It only has begun

This weekend has been jam-packed. Work Xmas do was last Friday. Waited to sober up and got home a few minutes past midnight. Alannah and Mum went to a birthday party. Yesterday, they went to the FOTZ picnic party (Friends of the Zoo). Alannah and Mum have memberships and they are good value. They can go whenever they feel like getting close to the wild animals.

We setup the Xmas tree last night as it was delivered during the day. It seems to be getting smaller every year. I think the first one we got when we first moved into our current house is about 9 feet tall. The one we have now is only about 4 feet. At least it is still taller than Alannah! She helped decorate for about 2 minutes and then got over it. She was more worried about the tree taking over her corner in the living room where she plays with her toys.

As I type this, Alannah and Mum went to another Xmas party - this time it is with the play group. Later on, we are going to the Royal Botanical Gardens to meet up with Monica's family. Next week, I have 2 project Xmas lunches and hopefully go to another team Xmas lunch the week after.
