Pull the rabbit out of the hat

It's pretty cold for a spring day in October eventhough there were outbreaks of the sun shining. We spent the day at Altona Beach for some bike race by the bay event thingy and most of the time was spent lining-up for the balloon and stickers, fairy floss, caricature (probably 30 minutes?) and face painting. A 'sponsored' event like this one brings out the bugs out of the woodwork. You see interesting people and what they do for a freebie.

In between the queues, Alannah was at the playground or jumping castle that goes flat every so many minutes. On the way home, Marisa said there was also a free sausage sizzle. Nice to hear that eventhough her toes might fall off from hypothermia, her mind is still racing ahead.. oh.. and Alannah chose the rabbit for her face painting activity.
