Say cheese and a sticky beak

I just can't believe how Alannah does not stop talking. She pretends to talk on her toy phone and says things like, "Fine...Perfect..." which probably overheard and picked up from her mother talking on the phone.


When she hears a noise, she blurts out.. "What's that?" and tries to go on the foot stool to have a look out the window if the noise seems to come from the outside. When you are on the phone, she would want to know, saying.. "Who's that?"


She can also say.., "Brace off" and would pretend she is stuck, have done poo, just to get out of it. One thing I noticed though, she used to smack Scruffy but now she seems to be a little nervy aroung him. But at 23 months, she can already do things without 'discussion'. You can ask her to close the blinds, put something in the bin, and fetch Daddy's slippers. Putting away her toys and books usually takes some convincing though.
