Went to the open range zoo yesterday. Nothing to write home about, and the hot weather with flies didn't help. The tour bus ride was a little bumpy - checkout the photo - Alannah is demonstrating how a giraffe eat the leaves. Marisa dropped the video camera in the car park - it's the end of it - can play but not record. When we got home I watched the tape in it to reuse and it was last year's Christmas day video. It was interesting to see her at 8 months with a sack full of presents as oppose to this year it was half full. By the time she's sixteen, her present would be just a picture of Mum and Dad holding a gift certificate for Forges.
