I was reading Google news and somewhere along the way, I stumbled upon a news item about Flock. I decided to download and try it. It feels much like Firefox 1.5 Beta 2 but with some groovy interface and "word processor" to be able to post your blogs.
Luckily, it supports blogger where my blog is hosted and as I type this in Flock, I am starting to like Flock with this built in word processor for blogging. Perhaps an email plugin can also be used and I can access gmail using Flock.
This browser is pretty much in beta but it is promising. It has some nifty features so that it can access your favorites (bookmarks) in any computer that you use. It should go the next step and update the settings as well. For example, my computer at work (where I spend 40 hours a week) is updated, it should be able to sync with my two computers at home.
Firefox is better than Explorer but I have to update all extensions manually. I had to use an extension that allows local install of extensions so that I only update the computers at home using a flash disk. Flock is not stable though as it crashed right after I setup the connection to blogger. but it is promising. I might have to install it at work tomorrow so I can test it more... :)
